Course Topics
Strategic Planning
Fast and flexible manipulation of Phoenix means you can forecast the effectiveness
of your IMRP fire cover model and the potential for improvement through alternative
deployment configurations and resource availability.
Monitoring and Improvement
Phoenix calculates the impact of the removal, relocation or addition of any vehicle
upon operational fire cover. Reporting upon performance in more detail than current
systems allow, delivering the best possible service with the available resources,
and modelling options for change.
Major Incident Modelling
With Phoenix, you can plan for, test and quantify your ability to cope with major
incident and new dimensions responsibilities, ensuring delivery of the highest level
of residual fire cover possible to the citizens in your area during major incident
emergency plan scenarios.
Pre-requisites
A basic understanding of data collection and storage will be helpful but is not
essential. No previous knowledge of ACTIVE or geographic information is needed.
We ask course attendees to provide us with details of their level of IT skills beforehand
so we can tune the course accordingly.
